From its ability to knock down sun glare to its elegant visual aesthetic, Scotty Cameron’s Tour Black finish is often requested by professional golfers when ordering a new putter.
Crafted from 303 stainless steel with a 6061 aircraft grade aluminum sole component, the compact Phantom Black 5.5 mid-mallet maintains its blade-like feel and includes a tour-proven, urethane-coated custom Matador grip. A limited number of left-handed versions are also available.
A finish developed for players who prefer a dark putter and to help reduce sun glare, Scotty’s Tour Black finish includes a PVD treatment applied to the stainless steel putter head, while the aluminum sole component has been misted and anodized black.
With a milled topline and two flange lines accented in light gray, the Phantom Black 5.5 includes a custom, tour-inspired sight line configuration for expert setup and alignment.
Chain-link face milling technology reduces the putter face’s touch points at impact with the ball using a texture that softens the sound and provides tour-preferred roll characteristics while preserving feel and feedback off the putter face.
